Engaging contractors at crown
Resident/owners who engage contractors are responsible for the contractor to meet WHS requirements. These contractors are not required to provide the body corporate with their details.
Contractors just need to sign on to the visitors sheet. However if the contractors are carrying out work in the common area then the appropriate licences and public liability insurances prior to entering Crown Apartments need to be produced. Further, appropriate PPE and risk controls must be used throughout the term of the engagement period.
